These businesses provide mission-critical software solutions that address the specific needs of customers in particular vertical markets. We typically leave acquired companies as stand-alone and decentralized businesses. We provide our companies with strategic and operational support, as-needed, in addition to capital that can be used to accelerate growth through M&A and organic initiatives.

Our typical acquisition criteria include:

  • Software solution with strong market-share in a vertical market
  • Revenues of at least $5 million (less for tuck-in acquisitions)
  • Hundreds or thousands of customers (not dozens)
  • Low customer recurring revenue attrition (less than 7% per annum)
  • Experienced and committed management team
