DAMIAN MCKAY
Chief Executive Officer
Damian is currently the CEO of Vela Software. Damian has been with Constellation Software (CSI) since 2015 when he joined with CSI’s acquisition of Datamine where he was the CEO.
Prior to assuming this role, he led a portfolio of acquisitions within Vela. Prior to joining CSI, Damian held a number of roles with GE and two electric utilities.
Damian holds a Bachelor of Business from RMIT and Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance & Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia.
TYLER O’HAGAN
Chief Financial Officer
Tyler is the CFO of Vela Software. He has been with Constellation Software (CSI) since 2013 and spent two years at Constellation Software head office before joining Vela in 2015. Prior to his current role as CFO of Vela, he held several positions including the CFO position of two of Vela’s Portfolio groups.
Prior to joining CSI, Tyler spent six years at PwC in both their Audit, and Consulting and Deals practices.
Tyler is a CPA, CA and earned his HBA at the Richard Ivey School of Business.
DAN BAUM
Chief Investment Officer
Dan, Head of Investments at Vela, joined Vela in 2018.
Prior to Vela, Dan spent eight years in private equity leading investments across a range of different sectors.
He started his career at McKinsey & Co in Toronto. Dan earned his BA from McGill University and MBA from Harvard Business School.
VANESSA DIMILTA
General Counsel
Vanessa joined Vela as General Counsel in 2017. She has been with Constellation Software (CSI) since 2012. Prior to joining Vela, she spent five years at CSI head office working primarily on private mergers and acquisitions in the software industry.
Prior to joining CSI, Vanessa spent five years at Stikeman Elliott LLP in the mergers and acquisitions, banking finance, capital markets and securities practice groups.
Vanessa holds a L.L.B from Osgoode Hall Law School, York University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Schulich School of Business, York University.
